Hello Everyone!
We here at Dee's World of Websites & Graphics could use your help! We are a new, one of a kind list that is NOW OPEN!! 

 
There are some staff positions we need filled and hope you will please take advantage of this great opportunity to be on staff of a terrific list like we have here! There is a link under each position to write to me. Each position will be filled ASAP. Some categories will require that you submit sample of previous work or provide proof of experience.

Assistant Leader (FILLED)
Requirements: Must have knowledge on how to run a list. Must have organisational skills and time to assist with the running of DWWG. You will need to take over assisting staff and members plus send out the Member Updates when necessary. You will be required to post to the group's website so web experience is necessary. Knowledge of PSP is required also in case something is needed of you. This is a well rounded position with many diversified responsibilites. You must also be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List and provide proof of experience.

HTML/Java Manager  (FILLED)
Requirements: Must have knowledge of HTML and Java scripting. You must be able to write your own scripts and/or search for them on the web to submit to the list on a regular basis to be decided upon hiring. You must be able to explain what the scripts do and possibly show examples. You might be required to post to the group's website. You must also be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List and provide proof of experience.

Web Tech (FILLED)
Requirements: You must be able to assist members on starting, building and maintaining their websites. Previous or present experience as a Web Master/Mistress is necessary for this position. You must be readily available to answer questions from staff and members about scripting, design placement, hosting or anything else regarding website building. You must be available through e-mail for members to call on you if help is needed. No bulk mailing is necessary as you are helping individuals and you need to provide proof of experience.

PSP Tech  (FILLED)
Requirements: You must be able to assist member with all types of questions regarding their Paint Shop Pro program. Knowledge of PSP 7 is a must and knowledge of PSP 5 & 6 would be helpful but not necessary. You should also have knowledge of how to follow tutorials and to direct members to tutorials they may need to use, fix and create in PSP. You must be available through e-mail for members to call on you if help is needed. No bulk mailing is necessary as you are helping individuals and you need to provide proof of experience or samples of your work.

Site of the Month Manager
Requirements: You are required to view members websites and submit 5 sites per month to selected staff that you feel should be chosen as DWWG's Site of The Month. So surfing skills, a keen web design eye and communication skills are necessary. Selected staff will give you the winner results and you are responsible for posting to the list and website the winner's announcement each month. You must also send the winner an award, that the Awards Manager makes, in their e-mail that they may display on their site with a link to DWWG's site. You might be required to post to the group's website. You must also be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List.

Awards Manager
Requirements: This position requires use of PSP or another graphics program. You must be able to create awards, banners and graphics to be used on websites so talent is a must. You will need to design and create a "Proud Member of DWWG" banners for all of our member's websites to use. You will also make the awards for our Site of the Month winners. It also may be necessary for you to assist in making winners tags for our two member contests. ( These will be subject to staff approval.) You will be required to post to the group's website so web experience is necessary. It is not necessary to be on the bulk mailing White list but you must provide samples of your work for approval.

Web Contest Manager
Requirements: DWWG will be having a biweekly webpage contest. Your job is to run this contest so organisational skills are a must. Every other week you must choose a theme for a webpage then announce the contest theme and start to the entire list. Members are to submit their URL's to you where you are to check them to see that they follow your theme and keep a running list of each entrant and entry's URL. Then after 1 week, submit the list of URL's to the entire list for their voting. You are to collect their votes and then announce the winner to everyone in an e-mail and send the winner an award for their site and a personalised signature tag. You will get the award from the awards manager but need to make the personalised sig tags yourself so knowledge of PSP or another graphics making program is needed. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List and also provide samples of your tags for approval.

PSP Contest Manager  (FILLED)
Requirements: DWWG will be having a biweekly graphics contest. Your job is to run this contest so organisational skills are a must. You will be required to post to the group's website so web experience is necessary. Webset(Bg) Manager (FILLED)
Requirements: This position requires that you submit at least one (1) webset, web graphics or set of backgrounds, two (2) times a week to the entire list for them to use. You may design them yourself and/or surf for them from other sites. If you get them from another site you must tell members how they must display the webset and how to link it to the creator. You must also provide a "tips or suggestions" e-mail once a week to help members use or design their own websets and web graphics. This is a total of 3 e-mails a week. You may direct them to tutorials or websites on how to make them or set them up. This is a creative position so an eye for talent is necessary. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List and may also need to provide samples of your websets for approval.


PSP Tutorial Manager  (FILLED)
Requirements: This position requires that you surf for tutorials on making mostly website graphics in PSP. You need to submit one (1) tutorial, three (3) times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to the entire list for them to use. This is a total of 3 e-mails a week. You may write them yourself and/or surf for them from other sites. You must abide by the tutorial author's terms of use for displaying the tutorials in the list, so that means knowing about copyrights. You should be able to follow tutorials yourself so knowledge of PSP or another graphics program is necessary. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List.

Q & A Moderators
Requirements: Two (2) positions available to moderate a chat room that members will come to once a week for questions and answers to their situations. One room will be on PSP related info and another will be on website creating. You need to be available one night a week to moderate the chat room for approximately 2 hours. You must have PSP or website creating experience to help answer questions or know when incorrect info is given by another member. You can provide links or other sources to the members to help them also. You do not need to be able to bulk mail but you must be able to get into an AOL chat room by either being on AOL, wmconnect.com or gateway.net OR have AIM installed so you can be brought into the chat room.

Birthday Manager
Requirements: Here is a position that requires you to keep a list of all the member's birthdays. You need to announce to the list each person's special day leaving the birthday person off the list and encourage the members to send them a greeting. Then send them a birthday e-mail greeting with a link to a special web page you must assemble and post to the list's website just for them. The page will stay on for 3-5 days then you must take it off our site due to space limitations. Even though the page can be simple, you must be creative and have a good eye for web design. You may get the birthday graphics off the web or make them yourself in PSP or another graphics program. You will be required to post to the group's website so web experience is necessary. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List and may also need to provide samples of your graphics for approval.

Welcoming Manager  (FILLED)
Requirements: This position requires you to send a welcome letter and personalised signature tag to each new member that joins us here at DWWG. You may create your own tags or personalise premade tags you have collected. So this means you need to be able to use PSP or another graphics making program. You should keep a collection of sig tags with common names so you do not get overwhelmed. I have a collection of some I made that you may use if needed. It is not necessary to be on the bulk mailing White list but you must provide samples of your tagging work for approval.

Ads Manager  (FILLED)
Requirements: You need good organisational and communication skills for this position. You will be required to communicate and swap ads with the editors lists that DWWG belong to. You must keep our ads updated and be able to forward the ads sent to you to the entire member list. We here at DWWG do not swap X-rated or Adult(porn) ads. Ads are to go out every two (2) weeks and there may be many of them to forward. You may choose which day of the week to send them out but it must be the same day every other week. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List.


Mail Forwarders
Requirements: This position requires you to keep a nice clean mailbox for those members who do not have AOL bulk mailing privileges or who do not have AOL e-mail addresses but want to share with the list. Members will e-mail you their sends to DWWG and you must forward them to the members in a timely manner. Being organised would be helpful. You must be able to mass mail by being on the AOL Bulk Mailing White List.
